I have chosen the Ellie Goulding music video: 'The Writer' to analyze as Ellie Goulding also fits into the indie/folk/pop genre like the artist Nina Nesbitt, who I am going to create the promo video, digi pak and magazine advert for.) I have analyzed the video in three sections: Performance, narrative or concept; use of media language i.e. cinematography, editing and mise-en-scene; representation, ideologies and values.
